Tzaziki & Oscar’s Pizza collab

For twee weeks only so get booking!

Okay, this was probably the world’s worst-kept secret. Some people are so enthusiastic about their products that they struggle to keep quiet about them. Oscar from Oscar’s Lockdown Pizza and Nick and Lucas from Tzakiki are those kinds of guys. Over the last few weeks, they have been teasing their followers on their socials about this exciting collaboration.

Meet the boys – Oscar, Nico and Lucas

Who are these guys?

Tzatziki are the legends behind some of the best Greek street food in Cambridge and London and

Oscar’s Lockdown Pizzas is the brainchild of Oscar. You probably guess what’s behind the name. Delicious pizzas created by Oscar and his team during the time the world ‘paused’, the pandemic. And Oscar’s style? Fluffy, soft Naples-style pizzas with unusual toppings.

And the best part is…..

There’s not one, but two new specials: The Moussaka Pizza and Oscar’s Souvlaki.

Ta-da ……..here is the Moussaka pizza created by Tzaziki

The Moussaka Pizza

What? A Moussaka pizza? Okay, we’ve had the BBQ chicken pizza, but what about a Moussaka pizza? What is that all about?

This unique pizza is created by Nick, Tzatziki’s Head Chef (and proud Greek) and has all the ingredients you love about a classic moussaka and reimagines it in an irresistable pizza.

It starts with a tomato and mozzarella base, then it’s layered with oven-baked sliced potatoes and aubergine, followed by rich beef bolognese made with sweet merlot wine. All finished with nutmeg-infused béchamel, crumbled feta, thyme, oregano and a drizzle of olive oil. The result? Comforting, indulgent and full of Mediterranean soul. The perfect meeting point between Greek street food and Oscar’s signature pizza style.

Don’t worry, there’s a vegan option available too! They’ve gone all out for you plant based pizza lovers once again with vegan versions of béchamel, bolognese and feta, alongside flavours of thyme, oregano and drizzled with olive oil.

As mentioned, this pizza is available for a limited time only, so grab a slice while it lasts! You can find it for delivery, collection and eat-in in Cambridge at The Blue Moon and The Portland Arms.

The boys had loads of fun creating this pizza and Nick even stepped into the pizza kitchen for the full experience. Check out this video to go fully behind the scenes!

The ‘Italian’ inspired Souvlaki created by Oscar

Oscar’s take on a Souvlaki

Of course, Oscar created his unique product too! His take on a Souvlaki.

He had a lot of fun too getting hands-on in Tzatziki’s kitchen. Naturally, Oscar came armed with a jar of our Kalamata olives (a staple side dish from the Oscar’s menu) and got ready for Tzatziki’s ultimate olive taste test. But who uses the best olives? Oscar or the boys of Tzaziki? All is revealed here!

Oscar also brought along a few of his other favourites: hay smoked ricotta, garlic oil and their famous tarragon & garlic dip, so his souvlaki could be as “Oscar’s” as it gets. For this Souvlaki Oscar also included pineapple, chicken, tomatoes, red onion and a serious amount of chips.

For a limited time, you’ll find Oscar’s Souvlaki across all Tzatziki locations: The Royal Standard on Mill Road in Cambridge, Hudson’s Ale House in Trumpington and The Stag’s Head in central London.

The Royal Standard Pub on Mill Road is one of locals favourites

Our review of the Souvlaki and the Moussaka Pizza

We were invited last night to join fellow foodies in trying out these unique products. It was a fun night out at the packed Royal Standard Pub on Mill Road, so make sure you get there early to get a table either inside or on the covered terrace.

Souvlaki is always a good pick me up, but this ‘Italian’ inspired one was so good that it will almost be a shame to remove it from the Tzakiki menu. The pizza was very unusual, spicing and ingredients you don’t usually expect on a pizza. Moussaka is a feisty dish, and you would expect a heavy topping, but this wasn’t the case at all. Light and fluffy, as a good pizza should be.

These unique street food-style creations by Oscar, Nick and Lucas are something special, and you should give them a try!

For two weeks only, the offer expires on 1 November 2025.
