Dine at a cosy bistro on Mill Road
Fancett’s is a small French-influenced bistro located on Mill Road in Cambridge, offering a prix fixe menu for lunch and dinner. The setting is relaxed, personal and intimate, with seasonal menus.
On NYE, they will serve a 5-course menu, including a glass of Champagne upon arrival. Reservations from 18:00 – 20:45 – £ 105 p.p.
Delve into the world of English Sparkling Wines
Start your New Year’s Eve celebrations in style – or if you’re not inclined to party late into the evening, make this the occasion to mark the moment! Nothing says luxury like a larger format bottle of sparkling wine, and we’ve assembled a selection of magnums of the finest English Sparkling Wines from which to pop the corks this 31 December. There’ll also be canapés to accompany the wines.
While we’ll still pour your wines and tell you some highlights about each of them, there’ll be less chat from us than normal, allowing you to socialise with friends at your table. For those who want to know a bit more about the wines, we’ll happily come around the tables to talk with you.

When you arrive, grab your welcome drink of either 2/3 Lightbulb or a Glass of Fizz. Then the Non-Stop Pizza Party starts. As you arrive, we’ll be bringing out Vegetable Antipasti skewers and olives to have with your welcome drink.
Pizza Mondo will be bringing out food all night until 1130 p.m. When purchasing a ticket, please choose your dietary preference and let us know if you have any allergies or intolerances. We will do our best to accommodate and ensure you are well-fed all night long.

NOVI Cambridge hasn’t done an NYE party for a long while, so what better place to do this than with the Wonky Disco? It will be an intimate New Year celebration with music from Stuart Banks and Jo Sennitt, plus a live performance from GSD.
The end of your celebrations will be taking place in the vibey loft of NOVI, with the whole venue and terrace open for drinks. There are only 200 tickets available for this party, so an early purchase is advisable.

Fizz, pizzas and gooey desserts
Scott’s All Day will open its doors on New Year’s Eve for a 4-course set menu dinner this year.
£37.50 for 4 courses, with the opportunity to add bottomless drinks for £27.50 per head.
The menu will be featuring Scott’s All Day classics and more:
- A glass of Fizz ( or 0%) and Focaccia + oil and Beluza olives
- Choice of starter: baked Camembert, Mac&Cheese Bites, pizza blini and smoked salmon, deep fried lasagna or charcuterie platter from Culinaris

One of the best ways to cure your hangover the day after the big party is to hit the commons for a breath of fresh air and end up at a pub for a bite to eat or a drink. If the countryside is not your kinda thing, we suggest a scenic leisurely stroll through the historic centre.
