DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss a beat – Contemporary Choir Festival\n\n\n\n\nCambridge Contemporary Choir Festival is more than one weekend a year. Sign up to our mailing list and be the first to hear about future events\, new music releases\, workshops and choirs. \nWhether you love singing in the shower\, in a choir\, or just love contemporary music\, we’ll keep you in the loop with everything that’s going on around you. \n\nIt’s taking place at the Corn Exchange July 17th-18th. \nSaturday daytime is filled with a programme of workshops beginning with a Family Friendly Pop Singing Workshop with Rachel Hill. Then we’ll explore Gospel with Lizzie Deane\, Musical Theatre with Carrie Rawlings\, and A Cappella with Helen Lappert. \nCambridge will be alive “with the sound of music” as part of this special event. There will be free pop up performances happening in Cambridge Market Square on Saturday 18th July so head there to soak up some fab music. Carrie Rawlings\, curator of the festival says: “If you sing in the shower\, in a choir or just love contemporary music you won’t want to miss this event. DESCRIPTION:An exhibition celebrating the Cambridge Corn Exchange\nA new exhibition celebrating 150 years of Cambridge Corn Exchange\, bringing hidden stories and historic images to the public for the first time. \nOpening Hours: 17 February – 4 April 2026\, Tuesday – Saturday\, 10am – 2pm \nJoin us to celebrate 150 years of Cambridge Corn Exchange in a new exhibition. With a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund\, a dedicated heritage team have been criss-crossing those centuries; delving into the Cambridge archives to uncover the people and events that have passed through this historic venue\, making Cambridge history. This is the first time some of these stories and images have been accessible to the public. \nA range of events will be held throughout the exhibition including evening openings\, family activities\, tours and special Quiet Hours for individuals or families with members who may have sensory processing differences or would otherwise benefit from a quieter environment to explore the exhibition. \n\n\n\n\nThis project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. \nAbout The National Lottery Heritage Fund:\nOur vision is for heritage to be valued\, cared for and sustained for everyone\, now and in the future.
