Ghost Stories at the Leper Chapel
November 11 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
£15.87
Casting the Runes
Intimate theatre production of two ghost stories performed by Robert Lloyd Parry in the atmospheric Leper Chapel.
In Casting the Runes we meet the unforgettable ‘Abbot of Lufford’, Mr Karswell – magic lanternist, historian of the occult, and scourge of the academic establishment. The story is perhaps best known for being the source for the classic 1950s horror film ‘Night of the Demon.’ It is partnered here by one of M R James’s most neglected masterpieces: The Residence at Whitminster in which a dark shadow is cast over the precinct of a peaceful English church…
“Remarkable. Lloyd Parry is a natural storyteller, well able to hold, amuse and frighten his audience.” – The Stage
Tickets £15.87 in advance from here
