An exhibition celebrating the Cambridge Corn Exchange

A new exhibition celebrating 150 years of Cambridge Corn Exchange, bringing hidden stories and historic images to the public for the first time.

Opening Hours: 17 February – 4 April 2026, Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 2pm

Join us to celebrate 150 years of Cambridge Corn Exchange in a new exhibition. With a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, a dedicated heritage team have been criss-crossing those centuries; delving into the Cambridge archives to uncover the people and events that have passed through this historic venue, making Cambridge history. This is the first time some of these stories and images have been accessible to the public.

A range of events will be held throughout the exhibition including evening openings, family activities, tours and special Quiet Hours for individuals or families with members who may have sensory processing differences or would otherwise benefit from a quieter environment to explore the exhibition.

This project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

About The National Lottery Heritage Fund:
Our vision is for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. That’s why as the largest funder for the UK’s heritage we are dedicated to supporting projects that connect people and communities to heritage, as set out in our strategic plan, Heritage 2033. Heritage can be anything from the past that people value and want to pass on to future generations. We believe in the power of heritage to ignite the imagination, offer joy and inspiration, and to build pride in place and connection to the past. Over the next 10 years, we aim to invest £3.6billion raised for good causes by National Lottery players to make a decisive difference for people, places and communities.
