After years of globetrotting and exploring different cuisines, Gerla decided to share her wealth of knowledge and experiences. More than that, she wanted to share her beautiful hometown Cambridge and introduce more people to all its culinary delights.
Gerla is a self-confessed foodie, and she has walked many miles in and around Cambridge, likes to go off the beaten track and loves a good tipple! Gerla started the award-winning Cambridge Food Tour in September 2012, sharing her love of food and Cambridge with locals and visitors to Cambridge. If she is not eating her way around Cambridge, you can find Gerla on her allotment or cooking up a storm.

FOOD AND TRAVEL INSPIRATION
Creating exciting food tours in Cambridge hasn’t come overnight. At the age of 13, Gerla was bitten by the travel bug. She mapped out the journeys for family and friends and made sure that food was always on top of the agenda.
Gerla has covered a fair share of our beautiful planet. The plan was to visit new places and revisit her favourite destinations over the next few years. Due to Covid-19, there is a slight change of plan for now. Instead, there will be lots of staycations for the foreseeable future.
